The staff of the Benin Mission held a lunch meeting on 29th October 2025 to welcome H.E. Alhaji Mohammed Abubakari Manaf, Ambassador to the Embassy of Ghana in Cotonou, and to formally introduce him to the staff of the Benin Mission and the executives of the Ghanaian community in Benin.

During the occasion, the Ambassador called on the executives of the Ghanaian Union in Benin to present and maintain a united front in their engagement with the Mission, and within the various communities.

H.E. Mohammed Abubakari Manaf also called on the executives to encourage members to register
their personal particulars with the Mission database of Ghanaians in Benin, to enable their compatriots to receive the necessary Consular assistance in the wake of emergencies.
