H.E. Mohammed Abubakari Manaf, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Benin, on Friday, 10 July 2026, presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Romuald Wadagni, President of the Republic of Benin, during a formal ceremony held at the Marina Palace in Cotonou.
During the audience, Ambassador Manaf congratulated President Wadagni on his election as President of the Republic of Benin and reaffirmed the Government of Ghana’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between Ghana and Benin. He also conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, to President Wadagni and the people of Benin.
The Ambassador underscored Ghana’s readiness to work closely with the Government of Benin to deepen bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, security cooperation, regional integration, education and people-to-people exchanges.
