Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of Benin,  H.E Abubakari Manaf on 22 April 2026 paid a working visit to the Songhai Regional Centre in Porto Novo for a first-hand appreciation of the institution that seeks to contribute to the development of Africa through the creation of green rural communities. 

The Chief Executive of the farm, Fr. Godfrey Nzamujo took H.E Manaf and some staff of the MIssion through the sustainable farm that amongst others focuses on crop production,  animal husbandry and fish farming with a zero tolerance for waste(by-products). The by-products are turned into biogas, manure etc and reincorporated into production.
